Alex Coto began his RC drift journey in 2019 during COVID, starting on carpet and gradually transitioning to multiple surfaces as his skills and understanding evolved. Through hands-on experience, constant practice, and a strong commitment to learning every detail of his setup, he steadily refined both his driving style and technical knowledge.

His current chassis is a HiKotech Barbara GRK, fully built with Overdose components. Reaching this point was neither quick nor easy—Alex built 13 total chassis before settling on his current setup. Each build contributed valuable lessons in suspension geometry, electronics, balance, and driving technique. By continuously “beating the sponge,” he learned his chassis inside and out, carefully dialing in his electronics to perfectly complement his driving style.

Alex has been fortunate to learn from some of the most respected drivers in the RC drift community and continues to progress with every session.
